Education my village inIndonesia
Education in Indonesia
Since a long time I wanted to write about Education in Indonesia, I remember when I was grade 2 elementary schools.
In my own village formal schooling was 2 times, morning and afternoon. If the
school morning at a public elementary school, if the school Madrasah Diniyah
afternoon to explore the science of religion.
Education my village inIndonesia |
Our village children daily on average the
same as it was. It's different if other villages, mostly educated in
the morning only. Our village children classified as diligently compared with the
other village children, proved every race held district level almost always
become the overall champion district level. A feat that made our school proud.
Non-formal education is also accustomed to
the children of our village, for example, the Koran and storytelling. Look no
caste discrimination in our society, all support each other. Our village is
peaceful and safe, let alone supported by many smart people in this village.
Even many well-known university graduates in Indonesia came from this village.
What is unfortunate is the best graduates
of these villages often chose to move from his home village.
Boys usually recite after dawn prayers at
home elder of a teacher of the Koran in desa. They begin to learn the Koran
until there were to be a hafidz. While girls recite after the afternoon prayer.
Most of them do so without the slightest coercion of various parties including
his own parents.
In terms of psychology, children of our
village became a diligent because of the influence of the surrounding environment,
not because of other factors. Formal education is indeed very important, but
the most important in shaping the character of a child is the environment.
Ranging from the family, school and community environments.
